Commercial License Agreement
1. Parties
Licensor: Capital of Mystery LLC (“Licensor”)
Licensee: The individual or legal entity that purchases or otherwise lawfully acquires the product “Shadows on Baker Street – A Victorian Detective Soirée” (“Game Kit”).
2. Grant of Rights
Upon full payment, Licensor grants Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to:
Print, copy, and prepare unlimited physical copies of the Game Kit materials.
Host, perform, and publicly display the Game Kit at unlimited private or ticketed events (e.g., dinner parties, corporate team-building, paid mystery nights).
Market such events using screenshots, excerpts, and artwork from the Game Kit, provided proper attribution is given (see §7).
3. Restrictions
Licensee must not:
Sell, share, or distribute the digital files—PDFs, images, scripts, or derivatives—except to guests attending a licensed event.
Resell printed copies as stand-alone products or bundles.
Upload any portion of the Game Kit to public file-sharing services or online marketplaces.
Reverse-engineer or remove copyright notices or watermarks.
4. Term & Termination
This license is perpetual unless Licensee breaches any term herein. Upon breach, rights terminate automatically and Licensee must destroy or return all copies. No refund will be issued.
5. Fees & Taxes
The one-time purchase price covers all rights granted above. Licensee is responsible for any relevant taxes arising from commercial events.
6. Updates
Licensor may release free or paid updates. Licensee receives lifetime access to free updates published to the original sales platform.
7. Attribution
When advertising or streaming an event, Licensee must credit:

8. Intellectual Property
All text, graphics, and mechanics remain the exclusive property of Licensor and are protected by global copyright laws. No ownership is transferred.
9. Limited Warranty & Liability
The Game Kit is provided “as is.” Licensor disclaims all warranties, express or implied. In no event shall Licensor’s aggregate liability exceed the original purchase price.
10. Entire Agreement
This document constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior proposals, discussions, or communications regarding the Game Kit.
By downloading, installing, or using the Game Kit, Licensee acknowledges reading and agreeing to the terms above.
