Plot:
It is summer 1977 in New York City, and the hottest disco club in town is packed with music, glitter, champagne, and secrets. Under the mirror ball, everyone wants to be seen — the headliner chasing fame, the club owner fighting for control, security watching every move, and the bartender hearing every whispered confession.
But behind the velvet ropes, the glamour is starting to crack.
At the center of the night is Valerie “V.V.” Vane, the club’s backstage fixer. V.V. knows who owes money, who lied on contracts, who made secret deals, who is being blackmailed, and who has the most to lose if the truth comes out.
Then, at exactly 00:07, the lights go out.
The music stutters. Glass breaks. Guests stumble in the dark. When the lights return, V.V. is found dead in the office corridor, half-hidden behind velvet curtains and surrounded by glittery scuffs, broken glass, and suspicious clues.
