Plot:
It’s 1957, and Slick Rick’s Diner is hosting the biggest rock-and-roll showcase the town has ever seen. The chrome is shining, the jukebox is glowing, the milkshakes are flowing, and every booth is packed with performers, reporters, sponsors, diner staff, fans, and music-world insiders.
At the center of the night is Ruby Raines, the glamorous headline singer whose voice helped make the diner famous. Ruby is expected to take the stage, charm the crowd, and possibly make a shocking announcement before the night is over.
But during the fixed 8:15 sponsor break, Ruby steps away from the stage and reaches for her usual order: a vanilla milkshake with extra cherry syrup.
