Plot:
On a glittering St. Patrick’s masquerade night at Blackthorn Manor, champagne toasts and jazz rhythms cover the real heartbeat of the estate: a hidden speakeasy known as the Green Cellar. Behind velvet drapes and locked doors, deals are made, debts are traded, and secrets move faster than the music.
Then a single blast shatters the celebration.
Beloved “patron” Cal O’Donnelly is found dead in the manor’s portrait gallery at 11:07 p.m., and the gates are sealed. With no one allowed to leave, every guest becomes a suspect—socialites, staff, performers, and power-brokers alike. Was it a rival settling a score? A cover-up to protect the Green Cellar? Or something far more personal hiding beneath emerald silk and polite smiles?
Across three escalating Acts, players interrogate, accuse, and connect physical evidence to motives and opportunities—until the room must vote on who pulled the trigger. Masks come off, alliances crack, and the truth finally takes the floor.
How it plays:
Everyone gets a character folio with secrets, goals, and questions to ask.
The host runs the night in 3 Acts. Each Act:
Players mingle, interrogate, trade info
The host drops 2 new evidence photos (6 total across the game)
After Act 3, everyone votes for the killer (ballot + final reveal).
No points/tokens — it’s all story + deduction.
Perfect for:
St. Patrick’s Day parties, speakeasy/1920s theme nights, masquerade events
Adults & mixed groups who like roleplay + mystery (PG-13 vibe)
4–30 players, best with 8–12
Great for home parties, birthdays, corporate team nights (2.5–3 hours)

Mystery Game FAQS
The game works with 4–30 players. Start with Tier A (4 roles), then add more roles in order to match your headcount.
Medium. It’s designed to be solvable but still full of twists, motives, and red herrings.
The host should read the host-only solution to run the game smoothly. The host can play as a character as long as they avoid sharing spoilers.
No—the killer is a playable character and doesn’t know their role until the final reveal (host hands them a sealed reveal/confession page).
Yes—everyone mingles and interrogates. The “tiers” are just a casting/scaling system, not separate teams.
It’s PG-13: a shotgun murder is part of the story, but it’s non-graphic and focused on mystery, drama, and suspects.
Any living room / event space works. You can run it as a mingle-and-question party or mostly seated, as long as players can talk in small groups.
Masks, emerald décor, shamrocks, jazz music, and a “Green Cellar” sign add a lot—totally optional.
